Bird Street Community Center’s 1st Annual Fundraiser was a huge success. Donors, Community Partners, Board Members, as well as Bird Street Staff Members came out in support of one goal, which was to raise contributions towards keeping our mission of providing a safe-haven for youth development of all ages alive and well in the Dorchester area. We also were in attendance to honor Boston City council Frank Baker and Massachusetts State Representative Evandro Carvalho who both received Community Achievement Awards for their dedicated service and contributions towards Bird Street Community Center over the past years.
