Bird Street Community Center

Where community is family

Together we Give. Help a Non-Profit Supporting Communities December 1st, 2020

We all have the power to create change with the power of unity and generosity. Every small contribution counts when it comes to providing support to those organizations and small businesses in need of a helping hand. Giving Tuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity, and equity across the globe. Please hit the button below to donate and support our continued efforts to provide quality afterschool programs to our community. We appreciate any and all contributions.

Our Programs

With programs that engage nearly anyone’s interest and instructors who are experts in their fields, Bird Street provides youths with an oasis for healthy development of social and professional skills essential for the future

Designed to support working parents with children ages 5 through 13, SACC’s structured programs offer homework support, math and literacy coaching, physical activity, health, nutrition and wellness, arts classes, and music

Bird Street familiarizes youth with the hiring process within an environment designed to help them grow and learn important job readiness skills for their futures. We offer part-time and summer employment to youth 15 and up through subsidized job opportunities.

Youth Development Transitioning to Virtual Programming

Due to the pandemic we will be forced to operate our programs virtually to ensure the safety of the youth in our community. The focus of our virtual program will be centered around social justice and violence intervention. We want youth to learn how to create change in their communities and inform them on the best ways to stay safe during these very different circumstances we are living in. Please fill out our google form by hitting the button below to enroll students. We are currently looking for middle school and high school students to participate in the program that we hope to start soon.
